DESCRIPTION:

The Only ASIC that will survive: Antspace, S19XP, S19 Pro, or L7? When you are watching the premiere of this video, I am in North Carolina. I just left Houston after visiting Dr. Xu, the guy that's helping with the largest Bitcoin miner from China in setting up his US facilities. 1h before I rode to the Houston Airport, I did a walk and talk video around the lake by the hotel. While I was walking, I talk about comparing Hydro cooling and Immersion cooling again and talking about the AntSpace, S19 Pro, and L7. The video doesn't try to avoid addressing the harsh truth that keeps everyone gloomy these days: Mining is NOT Profitable! So what should we do now and in the future? Which miner should we buy these days, S19 Pro, S19XP or L7? Would we just be wiped out from the history of mining if we don't own centralized mining equipment like AntBoxes and AntSpaces? You will find out in the video! Love you guys! ❤️❤️❤️🍺🍺🍺🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇨🇳🇨🇳🇨🇳🚀🚀🚀 Anyone that wants to get in touch with me can shoot me an email at Charlie@bizshenzhen.com or DM me by WhatsApp https://wa.me/message/NFKZX546AZFMC1 Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/hicharlielin WhatsApp: https://wa.me/message/NFKZX546AZFMC1 Discord: https://discord.com/invite/QGxMsmgvzy Twitter: https://twitter.com/charlielinhk Reddit: https://www.reddit.com/user/Appropriate_Ad_1450 Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/bizshenzhen

DESCRIPTION:

00:25 Event viewer for cpu oc debug 04:03 gpu asic quality hwinfo beta 08:48 new driver mpt mem voltage boost 3dmark 18:53 current memory settings 23:44 TODO in the future! Long delayed update before we become irrelevant! Event viewer is old news but we forgot to mention, we learned first from here (credit bosmang): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dU5qLJqTSAc Remember starts at core 0 vs 1, like programming arrays index 0 vs element 1. Warnings are still bad, implies throttling, everything is dynamic clocks and 'tries' not to crash. GPU asic quality in hwinfo beta, remember to uncheck sensor only or it doesnt appear. Ours is 83% XTX, so dogshit. But this isnt a dealbreaker, mainly implies current leakage, so worse temps, as long as you can remove the heat, you can still get good scores. Eg. if you have a high score, then water cooling will do LESS for you! We should watercool, but dislike the buy in cost, and maintenance. 22.3.1 driver seems good, MPT memory voltage boost, solved our instability above ~2130, had flickering. Do at your own risk, but the more people doing/talking about it you can feel more confident. 3dMark, its summer so bad time to hit records. Hit a firestrike PR, to take back 2nd place single gpu in australia, but timespy is the more demanding temp wise and didnt improve. We hit 430 watts and 99*c in GT2 @ 100% fans so def thermal limit. Junction/hotspot is the important temp. Also 12th gen intels, 3dMark doesnt even use 16 cores - best scores in SMT OFF so intel favoured. We also dont have XTXH ultimate gpu! Try in winter, we had a unusually cold winter last year. Forgot to mention we managed to boot with 3866 (proof of 3800 blackhole), but it WHEA'd 10 minutes into OCCT mem test, and 1.53v is at the upper limit of what we're comfortable running. Gear down mode/command rate halves the effect so its cheating, but you need it for stability so fucked both ways. Mem oc is awful because some settings persist bios reset and you get stuck in a boot loop. TODO in the future: Two bios updates with AGESA (affects cpu/mem oc), but we still have PTSD from boot loops from memory OC because some settings persist bios reset. Redo cpu OC, refine mem OC, repaste GPU and replace thermal pads. Talked about GPU temps here Threads I follow: overclock net [your gpu] owners lounge overclock net [your cpu] OC thread overclock net DDR4 oc thread hardwareluxx german MPT settings thread

He is the director of the reliability laboratory in National Space Science Center, Chinese academy of sciences, working on space parts assurance, including screening, qualification, DPA, radiation tolerance test, and failure analysis. He involves in a lot of Chinese space sciences projects, such as double-stars, Chang-E, space station, Mars exploration, DAMPE, Quantum communication, Hard X-ray telescope, and so on. VA160 and VATA160 are used as front-end readout ASICs in the payloads of DAMPE. Both Laser pulse test and heavy ion beam test were conducted to get the SEL tolerance of the ASICs. Laser test was performed firstly to quality the SEL sensitivity because it is easy and ready at all times. Heavy ion beam teat was executed secondly to quantify the SEL tolerance of the ASICs. Test results shows that there is about 0.4 SEL event a year for one chip and about 3 events a mouth for the system. Current limitation circuit was designed to mitigate the SEL damage and was validated in Laser pulse test.

Rebecca Weekly, Sr. Director & Sr. Principal Engineer, Hyperscale Strategy and Execution, Intel Corporation virtually connects with John Furrier for AWS re:Invent 2020. #theCUBE #reInvent #AWS https://siliconangle.com/2020/12/10/intel-partners-leverage-cloud-solve-modern-day-problems-reinvent/ Intel and partners leverage the cloud to solve modern-day problems BY SHANNON FLYNN The year 2020 has brought many unprecedented challenges — like wildfires millions of acres in size or a global pandemic that required schools around the world to quickly design and deploy remote learning solutions. Cloud scalability is one asset that can be invaluable in tackling some of these problems, according to Rebecca Weekly (pictured), senior director of hyperscale strategy and execution and senior principal engineer at Intel. “We work on technology. We hope that we get to empower people through that technology,” Weekly said. “But when you can deploy that technology at cloud scale and watch the world solve problems faster, that has made … 2020 unique in the positivity.” Weekly spoke with John Furrier (@furrier), host of theCUBE, SiliconANGLE Media’s mobile livestreaming studio, during AWS re:Invent. They discussed how cloud scalability is helping researchers answer questions faster — and solve some of the world’s toughest and most pressing problems. (*Disclosure below.) Pulling value out of the past with the cloud Wildfires around the world have recently caused mass damage and chaos. This is the type of disaster Intel and its partners are helping to solve through advancing technology. “We saw a kind of a climate-change set of challenges with the wildfires that occurred this year in 2020,” said Weekly, explaining some of the use cases for Intel’s technology to help solve critical world problems. “We worked with RONIN, who is a partner with AWS and Intel, and used the EC2 C5 instances that have the second-gen Intel Xeon scalable processors. And we used them to be able to help the [Australian wildfire researchers] increase over 60-fold the number of parallel wildfire simulations that they could perform.” The cloud may also be essential for businesses wanting to put old data to use. Most of this information is unstructured data — stores of unorganized, uncategorized information that can have a lot of value, but only if broken down into a form more suitable for data analysis. “So, really large unstructured data — which is the vast majority of data stored in the world — is exploding,” Weekly stated. “And one of the last [examples] that I absolutely love to cover of the wide scope of the ways that cloud is changing the innovation landscape, is Model9, which is basically a company that allows people to take decades of insights out of their mainframe data and do something with it.” Model9 leverages AWS’ cloud storage to break down that mainframe data into a usable, analyzable format. This is one example of many that illustrate how Intel and its partners are using technology to change the world, Weekly concluded. Watch the complete video interview below, and be sure to check out more of SiliconANGLE’s and theCUBE’s coverage of the AWS re:Invent. (*Disclosure: Intel sponsored this segment of theCUBE. Extending Bass for Improved New Product Forecasting at Intel Forecasting demand for new products is increasingly difficult as the technology treadmill drives product lifecycles shorter and shorter. We present a model that perpetually reduces forecast variance as new market information is acquired over time. Our model extends Bass's idea of product diffusion to a more comprehensive theoretical setting using the notion of demand-leading indicators in a Bayesian framework. Successful implementation at Intel demonstrates not only improvement in time/efforts but also reduction in forecast errors that leads to significant cost savings.
