Abstract

The report outlines the creation of 'cyborg', a partially machine (robot) and partially human organism represents an artificial conversion of a human to a machine, through an appropriate computer-human interface and the prospective application areas. In addition, the report also expounds the drawbacks of cyborg insects. Neural control, also known as neural interaction or neural interfacing, is touted to emerge as a revolutionary technology and a new electrophysiological approach in the human-machine interaction arena by allowing the direct communication of the human brain with a computer, eliminating the need for intermediary equipment. The report also covers as to how remote neural monitoring (RNM), is all set to break new ground in crime detection as well as investigation in future by enabling the control and alteration of criminal thoughts in the brains of potential perpetrators.
